Hotel near mt fujiyama

The staff went above and beyond to help us. Shout out to Mr. Hirouchi (I hope that I heard and wrote his name correctly) who was helping us with our luggage delivery and also onsen suggestion.

Had a great stay a Fujisan Station

The bathroom got very wet easily, soaking the towel on the floor. The breakfast was complimentary and sooo good and tasty. There was a free loop shuttle bus for those staying at the hotel going to the main attractions on Fuji, was very useful.

Comfortable, well located hotel in Fujioshida.

Fujisan Station Hotel is located a few minutes walk from the station and bus port in Fujioshida. The rooms are a little dated but incredibly clean. The breakfast room has a very pleasant outlook and the staff were very courteous. Views to Fuji-Dan outside the front door and it’s easy to walk to local shrines, cafes, bars and vintage stores.

Good location, close to sightseeing spots

Supposed to be a room with Mt Fuji view, however, only allocated lower floor room, Mt Fuji is behind trees and bushes.

One night stay

Directly across from Mt Fuji station. Nice view of Mt Fuji depending on where your room is located. Walking distance to most sites or a short train ride. Free shuttle bus stop that takes you to some landmarks including Fuji Q Highlands. Staff were quite helpful.

A bit worn and a little dusty. It was a good option for us for the night we stayed in the area, probably would have looked at other options if staying longer. Breakfast was okay.

Decent property. Good value.

Very close to Mt. Fuji train/bus station (not the major touristy Kawaguchiko station). The room has a good Mt. Fuji view. Decent buffet breakfast.

The room is not soundproof. The facilities/equipment are a bit dated (though functional). Not many restaurants/shops in the area, pretty much needed to go to Kawaguchiko for everything.

Great value for money! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything you need for a short stay. Location is super convenient—just a short walk from Fujisan Station, making it easy to explore the area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth it for the price!

Only minor downside was the breakfast—it was basic and could use a bit more variety, but still decent enough to start the day.

Lovely Mount Fuji

The hotel was very good! We had a room for three people; it was spacious and comfortable. From our corner window, we could even see Mount Fuji! The furniture was a bit old-style, but it still felt nice because everything was very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy, and we also really enjoyed the breakfast, there was a lot of variety. One small suggestion: it would be great to have more detailed information at the front desk. For example, when we asked about the free shuttle bus, we were told it wasn’t running that day, but no one mentioned that it would be available the next day.

Very Good

Very close to Fujisan station, clean, large hotel with decent size rooms and comfortable beds. Has vending machines with a few essentials and easy to access microwave. Breakfast is included

As a vegan in Japan, I always find it very hard to find anything to eat at the breakfast buffets of any hotel: the food provided is always very basic and barely includes any vegan item. For example it would be nice if they'd offer bread that doesn't contain any milk, or having soy milk and soy yoghurt as they're both easily available in Japan. It would be helpful as well for all the lactose intolerant folks out there.

Nice location for visiting Mt. Fuji area

I booked a smoking room by accident and found out about it too late. So I was expecting terrible smoke smell in the room but it was not too bad. The hotel is located in the walkable distance from Fujisan station.

My room was "mountain view" and it technically was, but the window was very small... maybe because it was located at the end of the floor? We were able to see Mt. Fuji but I wish the window was a little bigger.

Perfectly good stay for exploring Lake Kawaguchiko. Comfortable, good location and good breakfast.

Location right across the Fujisan Bus Station was good. The breakfast was great, as well as the staff. The room had an incredible view of Mt. Fuji, which made our stay extremely special.

There aren't too many things around town to do besides the main attractions further away. Room cleanliness wasn't the greatest, since there aren't many amenities like fixtures to hang clothes, I put clothes anywhere I could and they got full of residual dust.

We stayed only one night, therefore it was positive experience. More than one night I would not plan there

Hotel is very close to the railways station and also restaurants very you can eat are not far away. We had a walk also around and could enjoy the local life style

Hotel is a bit old, breakfast is not so tasty, but ok. It could be more European style, as you receive many international guests.

Friendly staff. Quick check-in and out process. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Great location, accessible to most places to see around Fujiyoshida.

The hotel is a-bit dated but the room we stayed in was clean and the staff were courteous so it makes up for it.

Fantastic location for easy access to everything in the Fuji region.

The staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and quiet. Location was great being so close to Fujisan Station where we could catch local buses and trains to places of interest nearby very easily. An added bonus was being able to purchase tickets to FujiQ Highland at the hotel which allowed early entry into the park.

Good view

The view from our room was amazing as we could see Mount Fuji We also enjoyed the breakfast. It wasn't crowded as we got there at 7am. We chose the hotel as we wanted to visit Fuji-Q highland, which was just 1 stop away on the train and the train station was only around 5 mins walk. The area the hotel was in was a lot quieter than we expected with few restaurants etc. The room facilities were basic and the decoration a bit dated but the bed was comfortable. The shower was a bit awkward as it soaked the bathroom. Overall we liked our one night stay and the staff were very kind and attentive. We would have enjoyed some English tea with sugar and creamer and also it would have been nice to access Netflix from the TV.
